Lab Closure: Effective Feb 28, 2022

Due to staffing shortages, Labcorp is closing their facility located inside of Shenandoah Nephrology on February 28, 2022.  As a result, we’re asking our patients with existing lab appointments at our office to instead go to the Labcorp at 420 Neff Avenue in Harrisonburg, VA to have their labs drawn.

While the Neff Ave facility does accept walk-ins, we strongly recommend you make an appointment with them ahead of time. You can call using the number below or use their online appointment portal. Labcorp already has your orders in their system, so there’s no need for you to come to our offices to pick them up.

If you do not currently have an existing appointment at the lab located inside of our medical offices, you need not worry about this announcement at this time.  If you need to go to a different lab, please speak to one of our nurses so we can get your orders sent to the appropriate facility.

Also feel free to speak to one of our nurses if you have any further questions. They have handouts with Labcorp’s contact information and driving directions from our office.  Please note, these changes will not effect Dr.Overby or Dr. Waligora’s schedules, and any appointment you have with them still stands.
